Elementary students are eagerly awaiting volunteer tutors for the 2026/27 school year. Volunteering with Heart Math Tutoring is a fun and effective way to make a difference, working one-on-one with a student each week to build their confidence and foundational math skills. With the support of an on-site Program Coordinator, volunteers use a proven, easy-to-follow curriculum filled with interactive activities and games.

Volunteer Opportunity Highlights:

• No prior tutoring experience needed - we focus on foundational skills like counting, comparing numbers, and basic addition/subtraction.
• Training and on-site support provided - Heart Math staff are there to guide volunteers every step of the way.
• One-hour weekly commitment from early October through end of April (breaks follow WS/FCS calendars)
• Proven impact- 97% of students to date have met growth goals set by elementary math specialists, and 100% of teachers report increased student confidence.
