Making It Work: A Fresh, Practical Take on Workplace Lactation Support
Coming Soon | First session begins May 7, 2026
Supporting employees through major life transitions doesn’t have to be complicated. Making It Work is a welcoming, interactive program designed to help employers build lactation‑friendly workplaces in ways that feel realistic, doable, and aligned with how businesses actually operate.
Led by Nurturing Generations, this engaging session brings 15 years of nursing and maternal health experience into a business‑friendly space. Using the North Carolina Making It Work toolkit, we’ll walk through straightforward strategies for creating supportive policies and effective pumping spaces—without the overwhelm.
Whether you’re a founder building systems from scratch, a growing organization refining your benefits, or an established employer looking to strengthen retention and engagement, this session meets you where you are. Expect clear guidance, practical tools, and plenty of space for conversation and questions.
This evidence‑based program is offered through grant funding in partnership with Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health (ICO4MCH), an initiative of the Forsyth County Department of Public Health.
Dates: May 7, May 14, May 21, and May 28
