"I recently went to a Speed Friending event and it was even better than I expected! A lot of my friends have moved or are in a different place in their life, so even though I’m from Winston, I find myself looking for a few new friends. Everyone was very friendly and the time flew past. There was a diverse group of ages, races, and genders at the event. It was low pressure, no one was put on the spot and Saya does a great job of giving tips on how to get the most out of the experience (uncross those arms!). It’s such a cool idea and I’m glad I went. I would recommend it for anyone looking to get out of the house and meet new people. I’ve already been in contact with 3 new friends I met and it’s only been 2 days."
