April 22 – Book Club
“The Stage Four Project”
Attending Author: Carl Prichard
Virtual Meeting: 7-8pm
1 Ways of Working PDU
After being diagnosed with incurable Stage Four neuroendocrine cancer of the liver, Carl Pritchard, a celebrated project and risk manager, set out to catalog his experiences. This book began as a farewell to friends and family and became instead a celebration of good news and life well-lived. His initial two-year prognosis evolved to the point where doctors determined he would likely die with cancer, rather than from it.
Participates will be able to:
Identify clear corollaries between project management practice and their day-to-day lives
Recognize the medical community as a group direly in need of good PM practice
Label the specific behaviors of project management that empower PMs in their relationships with new entities
