The Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem serves Forsyth, Davie, Stokes and Yadkin Counties and offers a number of services and programs. Our areas of assistance include, but are not limited to: The Center of Hope Family Shelter, the only family emergency homeless shelter in Forsyth County, Food pantries in downtown Winston-Salem and downtown Kernersville, Emergency Disaster Services, Boys & Girls Club, Worship and Service Centers in Winston-Salem and Kernersville offering church services in English, Spanish, and Korean, and Emergency Assistance in the form or rent/mortgage and utility assistance.
