The Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem serves Forsyth, Davie, Stokes and Yadkin Counties and offers a number of services and programs. Our areas of assistance include, but are not limited to: The Center of Hope Family Shelter, the only family emergency homeless shelter in Forsyth County, food pantry in downtown downtown Kernersville, Emergency Disaster Services, Youth Center, Worship and Service Centers in Winston-Salem and Kernersville offering church services in English, Spanish, and Korean, and emergency assistance in the form or rent/mortgage and utility assistance.
