Reynolda House, Museum of American Art, was the former home built in 1914-1917 by Katharine Smith and Richard Josua Reynolds, founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Experience American paintings of the 18th, 19th, & 20th centuries. A National Historic Property, the house adjoins formal gardens and the etate's support buildings, now converted to shops and restaurants. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Sundays 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
