About
Graylyn Estate and Conference Center is a historic, award-winning boutique hotel and event venue owned by Wake Forest University. The estate is a 55-acre property with 85 guest rooms and features a 1930s Manor House, world-class amenities, chef-curated dining, and 25,000+ square feet of meeting and event spaces. The Graylyn Estate was established in 1932 by Mr. Bowman Gray, former CEO of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, and Mrs. Nathalie Gray. Guests of Graylyn experience warm hospitality as soon as they arrive, greeted by the smell of freshly baked Mrs. Gray's Butterscotch Cookies and the friendly faces of our talented guest services team.
Mr. Gray valued creativity, innovation, and building long-lasting relationships in the career that helped create Graylyn. We honor his commitment to excellence by offering world-class meeting spaces, sophisticated technology, unique themed break upgrades, and creative team-building activities. Our flexible packages help businesses and planners create exemplary meetings, conferences, and corporate events. Our largest space, The Mews Conference Room, and many of our historic meeting spaces perfectly combine old-world charm, natural lighting, and modern sophistication.
Graylyn is the second-largest historic home in North Carolina, an honored Historic Hotel of America, and was named the #5 Best Boutique Hotel by USA Today. Graylyn is just a 25-minute drive from the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, NC.
