Rhonda Smith is the Branch Manager and local Home Loan Strategist for the Elite Mortgage Team. She is dedicated to her faith, family, friends, work, and mission work. She joined the Clemmons community in 2023 and has enjoyed getting to know the surrounding businesses and resources for her customers and referral partners.

Throughout her life, the call to others has been evident. She has been in the real estate and mortgage business since 1987 and has never looked back. Navigating the challenges of the 2008 housing crisis profoundly reshaped Rhonda’s perspective on what truly holds value in life. She is reminded frequently that we are not defined by what we do, but more by who we are and how we interact with those around us. Following her mother into this chosen field provided Rhonda with a great opportunity for being present as she raised her boys, now 32 and 35. Spending those nights at their basketball games and taking them to the park are memories that compel her to help others create for themselves. She is now remarried to Chuck and has two stepchildren also 32 and 35, as well as 3 grandchildren.

Her passions are continually pulling her toward working for others, and this is what drives the focus in her life, both personally and professionally. Whether it is by creating new homeowners, working at church, or helping in the mission field, Rhonda’s goals are to create a life balanced between work, play and giving to others – and for each in a meaningful and impactful way.

Travel is her favorite pastime, and she enjoys the hustle and bustle of the surrounding people trying to get to their place of rest in their chosen destination. When she is not traveling, Rhonda enjoys a quick visit to Florida in search of the surrounding waters near her family there. Here, she can rest for a moment in the gratefulness for her life and the many blessings she has been given. She believes that we are given one chance at life, and that chance is to be shared with those around us, encouraging and building them up as we continually grow.
