For more than 50 years, Crisis Control Ministry (CCM) is and always has been a place where neighbors help neighbors. CCM operates with the belief that food, shelter, and medicine are basic human needs. Through its offices in Winston-Salem and Kernersville, CCM provides short-term emergency services, including assistance with mortgage and rent payments, utility bills, food, and prescription medication to residents of Forsyth and Stokes Counties. CCM advocates for awareness and understanding of the struggles of poverty through multiple ministry-led education programs and volunteer opportunities.
