The Arts-Based Elementary School (ABES) is a charter public school that charges no tuition and is open to everyone. ABES teaches K-5 children through first-hand encounters with dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. ABES has 15-18 students per class and a strong curriculum that exceeds the NC Standard Course of Study.
