With more than three decades of leadership experience, Eric will share insights from working alongside hundreds of business, government, and community leaders. He will also share the choices he made to position himself to become a CEO at the age of 27 as well as his approach that continues to position the organization he leads for success while navigating significant policy and financial headwinds.

Under Eric’s leadership, Second Harvest has built on its strong foundation to become one of the region’s most impactful organizations consistently exceeding $90 million in revenue, fostering a culture that energizes its team, and serving as a trusted partner across the for-profit, nonprofit, and public sectors.

Prior to joining Second Harvest, Eric spent 26 years within the United Way system, including 11 years as CEO of organizations in both Virginia and Ohio. He also contributed to the Wake Forest University Advancement team and served for seven years as an adjunct faculty member at Salem College.
