Community, collaboration, and coffee: Join us for Wake Up Winston at The Ken Carlson Red Shield Youth Center! The Ken Carlson Red Shield Youth Center is focused on growth, connection, and learning through programs tailored to support teens during their crucial years of development.

This monthly networking event is hosted by Greater Winston-Salem Inc. members at their place of business to enjoy learning about and visiting many different locations around town. Light refreshments provided.

About The Ken Carlson Red Shield Youth Center: Exciting changes are happening! The Salvation Army has proudly announced that the former Boys and Girls Club is returning to its roots and will now be known as the Ken Carlson Red Shield Youth Center. The Salvation Army is no longer affiliated with the Boys and Girls Club of America nationally.

While the name is changing, the core of what The Salvation Army does remains the same, providing a safe, nurturing environment where children and teens can learn, grow, and thrive spiritually, mentally, and physically. They believe this evolution will enrich the lives of the young people they serve and strengthen our community overall.
