DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the World of Work presented by Forsyth County! This event will welcome all Winston-Salem/Forsyth County 10th graders to explore career possibilities across a variety of industries. Students will work their way through six "worlds" including Aviation/Aerospace\, Advanced Manufacturing\, Construction\, Technology\, Healthcare & Life Sciences and Business Services\, extending them the opportunity to interact with businesses and educational institutions to learn more about the careers that interest them and how to get there.Join us for a networking breakfast\, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM\, to kick off the event! Lunch will be available for participating business representatives.10th grader tours will be held from 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Independent and private schools in Forsyth County are invited to tour the event from 1:00 PM 2:00 PM. The day will conclude with a Community Career Fair from 2:00 PM 4:00 PM. Job seekers and community members are invited to learn more about job openings and career opportunities.\n\nBusiness booths are free\, and companies are encouraged to make their booths as interactive as possible. Booth set-up times will be scheduled for September 15. We will contact you closer to the event to coordinate and confirm your designated set-up time.Interested in Sponsoring?
