DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next Lunch with Leaders presented by Forvis Mazars featuring Winston-Salem State University Chancellor Bonita Brown.This event provides an opportunity to hear from one of our local leaders and gain valuable insights to apply to your own leadership journey. This summer session ties in to our Intern Experience lineup of events! Chancellor Brown has served as the leader of Winston-Salem State University since 2024. Prior to returning to Winston-Salem to assume this role\, she served as the Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer\, and then Interim President\, of Northern Kentucky University where she implemented a strategic plan focused on student success. Over the course of her career\, Mrs. Brown has also served as the Chief of Staff at the University of North Texas\, General Counsel at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Assistant Attorney at Winston-Salem State University. She received her BA in history from Wake Forest University and her JD from Wake Forest University School of Law.
